Marketwired wraps up a great week at ONA15 Los Angeles

Last week, the media relations team at Marketwired was lucky enough to attend the Online News Association’s 2015 Conference & Awards Banquet at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in sunny Los Angeles, California.

Along with members of the media from all over the world, we had the opportunity to learn about new tools, techniques and technologies in the online news industry from some of the greatest minds in the field. We were fortunate to attend, for example, the keynote address – A Deep Dive into Google with Richard Gingras & Emily Bell – where we learned about how Google can use their various platforms to bring forward the best and richest examples of journalism. Richard Gingras, head of news at Google, discussed critical issues affecting online news content and distribution and the state of the mobile web.

As a platinum sponsor of ONA15, the team at Marketwired had the chance to meet face-to-face with some of the conference attendees at the ONA Midway. We spoke with reporters, digital journalists, professors, editors and students. We learned about their work and discovered ways in which Marketwired could help them generate new ideas for content, drive website traffic and increase advertising revenue. We really enjoyed the opportunity to meet and connect with all of these individuals.
