Introducing New Marketwired Executive Team Members

With new appointments to our executive team, we’re making good on both by ensuring our focus is on the needs of our customers and by strengthening our leadership teams to help drive our delivery of smart solutions for news distribution, social communication and content marketing.

We are very pleased to announce four new appointments within our Marketwired family:

  • Mark Dillon, Executive Vice President, Sales, leads Marketwired’s global sales and is a 20-year veteran of the media, advertising and publishing industries who brings a deep understanding of digital content and multichannel business information to the company and its customers. Mark has a successful track record of managing industry-savvy sales teams, driving revenue and prioritizing service excellence within the organization following stints with NBC, ZDNet/CNET, and quadrantONE, a joint venture of The New York Times Co., Hearst, Tribune and Gannett.
  • Clark Ferguson, Vice President, Infrastructure and Security, Chief Security Officer, oversees all information management and security governance across the enterprise, protecting customer data and ensuring that our systems and processes exceed industry standards. Clark joins us following positions with the University of Lethbridge, BC Hydro and Bell. The first to hold this position within our company, his appointment underscores Marketwired’s ongoing investment in infrastructure and commitment to best-in-class systems and information security.
  • Sylvie Harton, Vice President, Business Development, accelerates Marketwired’s partnership strategy in an effort to bring progressive solutions and maximum business benefit to our customers. With deep industry experience and expertise in progressive PR, marketing and social media solutions for business, Sylvie returns to Marketwired in this newly created role after leadership positions with Critical Mention, Sysomos and Canadian Corporate News (now Marketwired).
  • Sanjay Kulkarni, Vice President, Product & Marketing, drives customer satisfaction and revenue growth through product strategy and innovation, and elevates the company’s brand. His expertise with customer-centric product development and SaaS platforms allows for the accelerated delivery of new solutions for Marketwired customers. Sanjay joins us following positions with Deloitte, Allstream, and ADP Canada where he led product and marketing teams to successfully conceive and commercialize new products that drove enhanced customer value.
