Claire Chisamore celebrates 20th anniversary with Marketwire

Twenty years can feel like an awfully long time. But, when you’re doing what you love, time seems to fly by, according to Claire Chisamore.

This January, Claire celebrates her 20th anniversary with Marketwire, having joined the company in 1990 when it was known as CCNMatthews. Starting in the accounting department, she moved around a bit, evolving in her role as the company itself evolved. Now, in 2010, Claire is Senior Client Relations Manager and Team Leader in Marketwire’s Toronto headquarters. The opportunity to get to know people – both co-workers and clients – has made her 20 years worthwhile.

Claire Chisamore“Claire has been diligently serving the communication needs of our clients for two solid decades,” says President & CEO Mike Nowlan. “In that time she has earned the respect and appreciation of both her clients and her many co-workers.”

Claire has been with Marketwire through the company’s formative years and continued transformation into a global company, witnessing with pride, growth and development in a company with which she has become so much a part.  The connections she has made, both personal and professional, make for some of her proudest moments and best memories.

“It’s like a family at Marketwire. I love dealing with people and enjoy growing the business,” says Claire. “I’m so proud that we were the first newswire to provide online services. Through our innovation and technologies, we always offer our clients the best possible service.”

Spoken like a true client relations manager. Congratulations, Claire – here’s to another 20!

In the 20 years that I've known you, there's never been a time when you didn't help a client, colleague, manager, friend.... and 'that' sums up why your clients, colleagues, managers and friends want to say THANK YOU for your devotion to helping people in general!
